Success with PocketWizard FlexTT5!
OK, so I have my new set, and I am thoroughly HAPPY with them.
I use a Canon EOS 40D, and I set my HyperSync to -2900. Perfect setup.
I have done 1/8000s with both my Photogenic 320ws monolights, as well as with my two Canon flashes (580ex ii and 430ex, the noisiest ones in the bunch. grr).

OK, so I had to send my original set back in for replacement. The new set seems quite a bit better. I’m gonna give it another chance - a few samples to come.

Underwhelmed by the PocketWizard FlexTT5
OK, I am beginning to think I just wasted a large chunk of money on these Pocket Wizard TTL wonder-remotes. I have played with them continually for a week, trying different things, and they are just not consistent - certainly unusable for wedding photography.
I guess I have to wait to try the shielding tool - yay! Throwing more money after this product. It’s too bad I don’t own any...

These pictures are of a beautiful family and a beautiful seven-day old baby girl.
I did all of the photos in their home, with various fabrics, the use of a “Boppy” (which is basically a cushion that makes it easy to prop babies up a little bit in a healthy and safe way).
